His great grandfather, the Equestrian Legend Late Nawab Tipu Khan Bahadur, a High Ranking Noble and Mansabdar during the reign of His Highness Nawab Mir Sir Mahbub Ali Khan Bahadur, Nizam of Hyderabad, GCB, GCSI (1867-1911).
TIPU KHAN SARAAI ROAD

In recognition to great work, the road opposite to Hyderabad Railway Station, Nampally was named after him as TIPU KHAN SARAAI ROAD. This was also due to the Tipu Khan Saraai located nearby where hundreds of travellers used to come and stay, they were provided free lodging and boarding for three days irrespective of any caste or community. Beside that there was also Masjid Tipu Khan and a Deeni Madarsa for poor children with residential facilities.
